Discord Speaker or Headphone Not Working

What the independent test changes

If DeviceOK passes

Audible DeviceOK sound narrows the problem toward Discord output selection, deafen state or app routing.

If DeviceOK fails

No DeviceOK sound means the system/device output path should be fixed first.

Safe sequence

Check these in order

    Run DeviceOK left/right audio.

  2. 2

    Check Discord deafen status.

  3. 3

    Select the intended output device in Discord Voice & Video settings.

  4. 4

    Confirm system volume and Bluetooth/headset routing.

Retest instead of guessing

After changing one setting, run the independent DeviceOK test again before moving to a more invasive step. This preserves evidence and avoids changing multiple variables at once.
