If DeviceOK receives audio in the same browser, the microphone/browser path works; focus on Meet selection, Meet permission or meeting mode.

If DeviceOK fails

If DeviceOK cannot receive audio, resolve browser/OS microphone access or hardware detection before Meet-specific settings.

Safe sequence

Check these in order

    In Meet, confirm the intended microphone is selected and you are not muted.

    Allow microphone access for Meet in browser site settings.

    Confirm the operating system allows the browser to use the microphone.
